My practice moves between observation and participation, attentive to movement, atmosphere and the dynamics between people and space.
I focus on capturing moments of presence, from collective gatherings to individual voices, revealing intensity and shared emotion as they unfold.

About Melanie
I am a visual practitioner working between culture, space and human presence. My work focuses on capturing the emotional atmosphere of people and communities, the moments where movement, identity and connection become visible.
My background in architecture and urban practice shapes how I approach image-making. I am interested in how people inhabit space and how visual narratives can communicate collective experiences.
Whether documenting cultural initiatives or collaborating on personal portraits, I approach each project as a process of attentive observation and dialogue. I seek images that carry presence, images that feel honest, grounded and emotionally alive.
Based in Stuttgart, I collaborate with cultural initiatives, artists and individuals who want to communicate their vision through photography and moving image. I work in both English and German, and across international and local contexts.
I create visual narratives that shape how people, spaces and cultural moments are experienced and remembered.
